For the first time in history, the national musical jewel comes to life as a spectacular theatrical adventure – full of movement, puppets and artistic imagination. The Czech Philharmonic, DEKKADANCERS, the Forman Brothers Theatre and Jatka78 have joined forces to create an unforgettable stage experience that transforms Bedřich Smetana's music into a living, breathtaking picture.
Six symphonic poems will resonate with the Czech landscape and history as a colourful map of memories, feelings and moments. The relentless "Šárka", the combative "Tábor", the mythical "Vyšehrad" and "Blaník", the magical "Vltava" and the romantic "Meadows and groves" come to life on stage thanks to classical music, contemporary dance and the poetics of the new circus.
The creative team consisting of Matěj Forman, Janek Jirků, Marko Ivanović, Štěpán Pechar and Andrea Sodomková opens up space for imagination, questions and emotions – and invites children, parents and grandparents to join it. Anyone who has a soul tuned to music, movement and stories.
