MAT on Karlovo náměstí began as part of a film club opened in December 1994; regular public screenings followed in May 1995. With just 46 seats, it offers an intimate setting and still screens 35mm and 16mm film prints alongside digital releases. Opera and ballet broadcasts and exhibition films also feature in the program.
