Google Maps, on cinema pages, shows real cinema locations. Loading it involves a request to Google and can set Google's own cookies. It doesn't load until you accept cookies — before that, you'll see a placeholder with a button to manage your preferences.

Worth disclosing directly: Google Maps' own code is known to make some background network calls to Google's ad-infrastructure domains as a normal part of how it operates, independent of anything this site does. This site doesn't run ads or use ad-tracking of its own, and doesn't use these calls for anything — but they aren't something we control or can configure away, and we can't say for certain whether they carry tracking implications on Google's own side. It's disclosed here as a known exception to this site's “no ads” approach, not something we can vouch for either way.

The film trailer embed, on film pages, uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), which sets no cookies on its own until you actually interact with the video player. It still doesn't load until you accept cookies — same placeholder, same button.

This consent banner itself sets one small cookie to remember your choice, so you aren't asked again on every visit. It runs entirely on this site's own server — no third-party consent-management vendor is involved.

This site uses Vercel Analytics for basic, aggregate page-view and device-mix statistics. It's built to be cookieless — it doesn't set cookies or track you individually across visits.

Separately from cookies, this site stores a few small things directly in your browser (localStorage), tied to this device only:

• Your language preference (English or Czech)
• Your saved “My List” of showtimes
• Whether you prefer grid or list view for browsing films

These exist purely to make the site work the way you left it — they aren't used for tracking or shared with anyone. They're treated as strictly necessary to the site's own core functionality, which is generally exempt from cookie-consent requirements — stated here as this site's own reasonable understanding, not a legal ruling.
