The mysterious Argyro lives on a farm in the middle of the breathtaking landscape of the Greek mountains. All she needs to be happy is a small herd of goats, dark beats in her ears and her eternally playful friend Anneta, the most beautiful girl in the village. But an unexpected news hits the age-old friendship. Anneta is pregnant and soon moves away. Can the girls cope with the separation, or dare to face the depth of their relationship? A fresh portrait of queer adolescence avoids genre clichés and brings an unexpected mix of Balkan folklore, authentic acting and hot summer romance. It is also worth mentioning the atmospheric camerawork, which brings out the mystical beauty of the local nature. The feature debut of the directing duo Stergios Dinopoulos and Krysianna Papadakis premiered at the Venice Film Festival, where it won the Europa Cinemas Label Award and a nomination for the Queer Lion Award.
