Jim Queen (2026)

Muscular, sexy and eternally online, Jim Queen reigns supreme in the Parisian gay scene. Perfect abs, endless parties and all eyes are on him. The world is at his feet. But then heterosis strikes, a mysterious virus that spreads through the city and turns gays into heterosexuals and – horror horrors – football fans. One by one, his followers succumb to the contagion, so a terrified Jim sets out on the trail of a doctor who is a bit of a mad scientist and may have a cure. His only ally is Lucien, a twink who is still half in the closet and is Jim's exact opposite in everything. A caustic satire on the cult of self-presentation, the desire for fame and the hierarchy of contemporary queer culture had its world premiere in the Cannes section of Midnight Screenings. And now this crazy cartoon arrives at midnight while it's still warm.
