Iván has to work hard in a vegetable growing plant to provide for his family. His only hope for a better life is a promotion to manager, which his boss promised him. All he has to do is hold on a little longer and his loved ones will never have to worry about whether they have enough to eat. But for the first time in his life, Iván also wants to think about his happiness. And that is his peculiar colleague Hadoum, who loves him without reservation, even though she once knew him as a girl. However, Iván's family does not support their relationship, not to mention that Hadoum and the other packages start preparing a strike in the cultivation room. Iván must decide whether to listen to his heart or prefer the material provision of his own family. Debuting director Ian de la Rosa places the story of forbidden love in the context of rural Spain, where the acceptance of different identities and cultures is far from a matter of course. The film won the prestigious Teddy Award for Best Queer Feature Film at this year's Berlinale.
